In Your Head: A Poem About Depression

You're tangled in ropes,

loosing your hopes.

Silent and dead,

they say it's all in your head.

Days pass by,

You said you wouldn't cry.

Like a rain drop on a window,

going the way the wind blows.

No direction,

Without a mental connection.

You didn't realize

tears fell from your eyes.

Planning your goodbyes,

trying to answer the "why" 's.

You are living,

but are you alive?
