A Poem
I miss you like the summer rain,
the way it fell in short-lived showers,
soaking the sweet soil in sadness.
You're the beautiful overhang of clouds,
shadowed symphonies slow-dancing above me.
The sloop of your step, the slouch of your stature.
The most beautiful thing about you is your radiance.
You illuminate the sidewalks like liquid sunshine,
and for that I miss you like the summer rain.
What a sparkling should've been.
Only to be soon Tsunami secured in sorrow,
and for that I miss you like the summer rain.
